Fender Thinline Tele
Do you mean the American Thinline Tele or the MIM Thinline reissues? I haven't played the US one, but I've been pleasantly surprised by some of the Mexican ones (you gotta pick and choose though - not all the MIM Fenders are created equal for some reason). My current tele is an MIM Nashville Deluxe, and I perfer its feel and tone over any recent AmStandard one I've played. The fret and neck work is excellent, and with the exception of the quickly replaced "modern" bridge, the hardware is pro-grade all 'round. Great guitar, especially for the price... I think you could find a MIM Thinline that would please you as well if you shopped around some. *$.02 ka-ching!
