So I went to GC today to try some stuff out.. And found out my friend that I deal with got promoted to Asst Manager..

Anyways I asked how much he could hook me up with the TRB1004 for.. Well I got it out the door for $425.. Not to shabby there $750 everywhere.

Its nice and snappy.. Got a brightness to it which I like and its nice the preamp is cut/boost and very useful.. Got to get use to the change in scale lengths but im loving it..

Finally I score a nice bass..

Didnt know where to put this mods so I put it in other non ibanez brands

Thanks guys im pretty stoked.. Its weird the TRB series has 35" scale length which is normally reserved for 5 and 6 string basses to help with the low B string.

So on this the strings are nice and full sounding even piano like which is entirely different then any 4 string I have played and I know its from that scale length.

I could not be happier with the purchase.

The thing sounds beautiful with the EQ set dead flat which you cant say the same thing about 90% of active basses. They really got it right on this bass.

Fit and finish is flawless, frets are incredibly detailed and worked. And it balances very well almost no neck dive. Now the best part is its weight its very comfortable and doesnt get tiresome to wear it.

I love it. love it, love it, love it, love it..

I will try tonight to get some kind of recording done with it.
