Floyd Rose 1000, adding Schallar trem arm, few q's.

Hi, I just bought a edwards guitar that came with the chinese floyd, seems to work all right (it is no edge pro but ill live). My only problem with it is the trem arm gets loose and vibrates.

I bought a schallar trem arm assembly, do people replace the trem arm stud as well, or just wack in the new arm into the chinese stud and be done with it.

Its funny comparing the two bars, the schallar is so much better in every way, it is shorter, heavier, has superior bearings, and is mandrell bent. It also has solid steel on the end of it, and a bearing in the screw bit.

Replace the whole lot if you have it there, arm holder and all. You could have used plumbers tape with the stock assembly though.
