Re: Folding guitar!

That is kind of cool, but I'm not going to run out and spend $3370 on it.

I saw your in Kansas; I'm from Leavenworth, KS

Re: Folding guitar!

Interesting idea, but the guitar itself, well, the hideousness-to-practicality ratio doesn't seem worth the $3300.

Re: Folding guitar!

I don't even know where to begin to explain how I feel about that. Overpriced? Overdesigned? Does that big wheel double as a trem?

Re: Folding guitar!

Aw, is that assinine! I mean, come on. Is the space you gain really THAT important over structual stability? And for that price?! Forget it. I've seen alot of stupid gimmicks, but this is a new one.

Re: Folding guitar!

That bridge resembles a hoist pulley system like an anchor being dropped. I would maybe pay as much as $200 for portability, but my hunch is it plays like crap. I imagine tuning is a b***h.

Re: Folding guitar!

Surely the strings will get all bent and screwed up - I can't see many people spending that kind of money on that gimmick

Re: Folding guitar!

It is pretty cool, but yeah overpriced. Although all the hardware is pretty top spec. Might actually play ok.

Re: Folding guitar!

if i was a rich git and wanted a guitar to take on holiday with me then i would get that since you could get it on a plane as hand luggage.
until that day comes, i will never even think of getting one!

Re: Folding guitar!

The funny thing is, the idea is not new at all. The inventor should be aware of the Hoyer Foldaxe, engineered in Germany in the year 1977.
