For all you Petrucci fans...New EBMM's (Pics)

And for the new seven stringers:

And the downside...(IMO) I hate highly finished necks...

What's the battery compartment for?

Also, to me they look kinda cheap now.

I imagine the battery compartment is for the Piezo active electronics.

They look like those OLP Petrucci signatures.

Will the non-JP inlays option (if there is one) not have that 12th fret inlay?

They look like those cheap no brand 80 quid guitars that are all over the bay. I'm sure that there is a market for them and that they will be snapped up...just not in my house

he should just go back to ibanez, the guitars now look so much like an RG. good they got rid of the picup rings but he should have left the white lining around the neck. oh yea the inlays are crap aswell

Nope, all BFR's will have that inlay. There are no options on the F-1. Just the full blown version.

Re: For all you Petrucci fans...New EBMM's (Pics)

Very nice, but some downfalls.

I have always lusted after the original EBMM Petrucci models. And these do look nice too. And will no doubt play great as with most of the EBMM stuff. I really like the D-Sonic in the bridge, makes a nice change.

But I'm with you, I dont really like finished/painted necks much. And I dont care for these new colours either, they dont really do it for me. The original Petrucci colours are much cooler.
