was looking around, came across this page... done his own inlay... hes got the vai logo on the headstock :S

Hey, the guitar looks pretty awesome. I really like the rose inlays, and I found the trem system pretty interesting. Never saw it before. Looks like it isn't recessed into the body though. Still, a nice looking guitar, and a helluva lot nicer than what he/she started out with. ;p

Those inlays look pretty cool but I'll choose the vine inlay over that.

Meh. It looks ok, but the stem part of it is waaaay too thick. It makes the whole thing look clunky, imo. And the silly "ROSE" inlay at the 22nd frest totally kills it.

The Jem vine is much classier. The J-Custom vines are even better than that.

The trem looks kind of like the ZR trem with the ball bearing pivots but the entire guitar just looks too compacted.....I think the single coil should've been removed.

I cant decide whether it looks fugly, or nice though. Interesting mods though all the same, and hes obviously spent alot of time and effot on it.

I'll tell you one thing. The guys got patience. He did that inlay without taking out the frets. Amazing.
