When i first got into rock music it was the iconic metal guitar but i was only 11 at the time and even though they were relatively cheap (compared to the astronomical prices they go for these days,if you can even find one!)there was no way i could afford one.
At the time Schenker/Scorpions,Accept,Saxon and those sort of bands were playing them and i wanted one sooooo bad.
I eventually managed to get mine about 3 years ago and it's f*****g awesome.
They never really made them in large quantities and more often than not when you see them for sale these days they've had the headstock snapped off and re-glued sadly. They've got a particularly narrow neck at the nut and that's their achilles heel.
Mine is 100% original apart from the fact that the previous owner fitted
pickup rings(argggghhhhh!!!!!).The rings look fine but guitars like this one are always better when they're 100% stock imo.
