Thats pretty instense man, good work. It's gonna be so awesome after getting a finish. Major props, SGs freakin rock big time.

I knew I made the right choice getting the natural finish!

Btw I would'nt actually recommend the Breed for the SG, I keep changing my mind about it everyday. I love it's solo tone, but the chords, eh. Overall it's so-so, it's very middy, which I really isnt my thing. I'm preparing to try either a Steve's Special or another Evo.

Ill let you know. Keep us updated as well!

Edit: Actually I do recommend them (see what i mean!) Yea it's middy but its a great rock sound, overall a versatile pup. Breed is a good one.

Here we are, neck & body now finished!!! I'm waiting for the new hardware to arrive (GOLD), it's coming from the US so I should be able to finish the project within the next couple of weeks. The pick ups are going to be Burstbuckers 2 & 3, with coil taps. Can't wait to get this finished so I can play the beast

What oil did you use? I was under the belief that once you oil a piece of wood, no paint will attach to it... So i was kinda thrown off by the "oil, then clear" thing

In any case, congrats, she looks awesome

I paid £300 for it without the pick ups- They retail at £1,000 here in the UK, and sell s/h for £750-£800 ish.

It's a USA Standard.

The Guitarist forum auto-prunes its topics due to the high posting rate.

This in turn means a lot of topics are lost pretty soon after they are posted (couple of months usually).
