good medium-fret guitars - i'm looking for a good and afford

hey all,
i'm looking for a good playing and affordable (under $700) MEDIUM-fret guitar. Does anyone have a recommendation? I play mostly rock and blues, and body-style wise, I like RGs and MM Axis body.
I've been hearing amazing reviews on OLP MM1, a copy of EVH MusicMan. And you can't beat the $199 price tag. Should I get this guitar?

I bought one of the MM copys and believe it or not its great, I also just did some wild custom work to it, can be seen here in this thread

Not many RGs with mediums. *In fact, I can't think of any. *Ibanez has the SC420, but that's a Sabre body, 25" scale.

Why not get whatever guitar you want & have Jeremy or Brian refret it?

jester, i didn't know you could refret a guitar into a different size. doesn't a medium fret guitar has a narrower neck than a jumbo fret guitar?

the neck width has nothing to do with frets. jumbo frets are simply fatter and higher

(ta hell with jumbos :angryfire
