I remember seeing a Framus with that
neck joint
and there should be two more screws under the neck pick-up. Nice score btw evan!

Yeah, that 2 bolt setup is wacky looking! Looks great though, congrats on the score. What's the neck profile like on her?

Re: Got my Framus today! Pictures and video!
Thanks guys! The neck joint is actually very comfy. You can easily hit higher frets. The neck prfile is a bit fatter than Ibanez Wizards. Not as fat as a LP or anything though.
Im actually going to sell this thing, or return it, because it is VERY bright sounding, and it has that Stagmag ppickup that is supper bright too. I could just change the pickups, but I think the
swamp ash body
material has something to do with it as well. Besides, changing the pup would void the warranty. I just got a Bugera 333xl 212 combo and the sound from the guitar just isnt fat enough. I tried my guitar teacher's guitar(rg470 w/ a tonezone) and it sounded SO much better through the amp than my guitar. So I think I'm going to get a cheaper guitar, but still MIJ or something and invest the rest on a nicer amp or effects.

Lol, I always love when someone posts about loving a guitar they just got so much and three days later they write that they're selling it. Didnt ya try it at the store and really love it, or am I thinking of someone else?

Hahaha, I did, but you know what its like at a
music store
...loud and some cheesy music playing in the background...or some losers who plug in to a marshall MG stack and start playing out of tune power chords. Nah, but the neck feels amazing, its just the tone is way to bright.

Re: Got my Framus today! Pictures and video!
So...*just my suggestion*, change the pickups. If you love everything else about the guitar, theres no reason to get rid of it just because you dont like one pickup.

Re: Got my Framus today! Pictures and video!
No but the whole guitar is made of bright materials(swamp ash). I just dont think the pickup would make as dramatic of a change as it would in say a Fender or Ibanez. I kind of want 24 frets and mahogany or basswood back anyways.

Which is why you didn't buy anything like that in the first place.
Make sense.....

Re: Got my Framus today! Pictures and video!
I know, but, I like maple fretboards a lot too though, and 22 frets didnt bother me too much, but I think I've decided on getting a Ibanez RGA321F Prestige:
