guitar w/ mini humbuckers

I had a Gibson nighthawk a few years ago that had a 2 mini humbuckers. I sold it because the guitar's quality was terrible. But I really liked the tone of those mini humbukers. Now I want to get a guitar with those pickups. The obvious choice is Gibson deluxe but I am not sure I want to blow 1500 on it. I don't know anyother mini hums equipped guitars on the market. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Firebirds have mini-humbuckers. You could also get a guitar with P-90s (like the PRS SE Soapbar) and swap them out for mini-humbuckers, which i think have the same footprint as a P-90 when installed with mounting rings.

You can basically get any guitar with two humbuckers and a pickguard to fit mini hums. Just make a new pickguard (the route is already big enough).

I followed your advice and this is what I came up with:
I wanted to have the mini-humbucker tone in a mahanony setneck guitar but don't want to spend too much on LP deluxe or SG deluxe. But there aren't that many mahagony setneck guitars with pickguards. Guess what I found? Ibanez AXS32!
It is cheap and has a good reputation for quality. I've tried an AX neck before and liked it much more than gibson necks. So what I need to do is to get rid of the stock pickguard, two humbuckers and two pickup rings and have my own pickguard made. Right?
How and where do I do that? Warmoth?
If I follow thru and have this thing finished it's gonna sound awesome! I may even throw in a chrome covered tele neck pickup between two chrome mini humbuckers. It is gonna look great too.

you could also contact Dave at www.fretsonthenet.com , he can make you some custom pickup rings that are supposed to be very nice. You could just mount the mini humbuckers with them and leave the pickguard alone.
