Guitars made from acrylic

Anyone had any experience? I'm tempted by one of those Wesley 5-string basses on ****, if it's still only going for a tiny price nearing the end of the auction?

The Crystal Planets have an amazing tone A little heavier, but not bad (approx 10 lb)

If you can wait a few months more, then the Jem20th reviews should start trickling in

I have one of the early BC RICH acrylic mockingbirds. It has some Gibson pickups and sounds really good. It can get some of the tones that I've been trying to get for sometime. Don't like the baseball bat neck though, probably going to take the pickups out and put some stock ones in and sell it soon.

I've just bought a Dan Armstrong. Awesome guitar. It's a little heavier but they sound great.

a hollow body would be interesting, and alieve some wieght

The singer from Machine Head uses an acrylic warlock live, looks wicked in person, except for all the fingerprints and smudges.

Nah the other one. "she said don't hand me no lines and keep your hands to yourself". I hate that song with a passion. Almost as much as every George Thorogood song.
