Halo guitars?

They seem to have some interesting stuff, but what really interested me was the custom shop. You have the option to get the guitar imported(from their shanghai factory, according to one of their customer service people) as well as american made. I'd love to have an Octavia 7-string, but a custom shop model made in a chinese factory seems sketchy, and i'm not willing to put out the $7k for an american made one. Has anyone had any experience with these guys? Or more specifically someone who's had an import custom model from them?

without playing one, its gona be a risk... even if you bought the cheapest model. and even if someone responds to this thread saying they are awesome, I still wouldn't buy it without playing it..

The Halo V I had for 3 days was a Chinese-made piece of crap, not even the correct specs based on their website, and I lost $100 on shipping returning it.

I wouldn't buy anything from them sight-unseen.

i've played a few at some stores, and all i can say, is that a guitar hero controller feels like better quality, with a more resonant body.
