anyone ever had or played one of these guitars? The Talon II, IV, and V catch my eye and I was wondering if these are sold at a reasonable price (Im guessing they are all used now)
Vinnie Moore
Played these for awhile didn't he?

Re: Heartfield
If a strat and an RG550 had a child, that child would be named heartfield talon.
And they're very affordable.

now why haven't I heard of these before!! a long time ago i was looking for an affordable guitar with 24 frets and an ofr and now I find this!! I still would like an affordable 24fret, ofr guitar though
so I might just get a talon haha. It would be my guitar that id bring with me everywhere, cause Im not going to carry around my american strat (my blues machine) and my ibanez rg2570 is great but whenever I want to practice at school or jam with a friend after school i dont feel safe leaving it even in my padlocked locker i keep my school upright bass in.

Re: Heartfield
here is one on ebizzle 220170491523 just it is all crapped up but I expect most of them to be since they are relatively old. this one only has 22 frets though so lame!

Re: Heartfield
Great guitars; I've got a Talon V. Japanese built (Hoshino!), good pickups (DiMarzios) and a super-thin neck. Keep your eye out for one in good shape.

Re: Heartfield
Pics!
How is the neck comapred to the Wizard? I'm not fond of necks as thin as the Wizard, and I've heard the Talon necks are a little more "D" shaped than the Wizards.

I hope it is Ibanez thin because for some reason I love that
How much do you think one would go for? How much moola was your Talon V?

Re: Heartfield
I have 3 Heartfields... a Talon V, an Elan III, and a DR4C. They were all made by Fugi-gen... yes the same manufacturer of late '80's-late '90's high end

Robotechnology, tell us more about your Talons. How are they compared to something like, say, an RG550?
