Re: HELP!

Get the computer mate , especialy if the one you've got now is on it's way out. The 80's Gibbo's don't do very well and I think you might regret it if you got it.

Just my 0.02

Re: HELP!

anyways wierd that the guy didn't call you back for weeks, prob because he had someone to buy it, maybe at a higher price, and the dude/gal go cold feet. if it were such a superdeal as it sounded, would've gone ... it's just a theory but plausible

3200... that's not that bad. 3000aus, man, even when building from zero, you could really build a rocketlaunchplatformcomputer with that kind of budget I never go for latest high tech. year by year I do upgrades with parts that have best price/value rate. brand new stuff degredas in value like hell.

I'm sure you worked hard to earn that hard cash, so you ougtha spend it well. this sounds like a real case in wish you just should leave the biggest part of the money on your bank account for a while and leaving hasty decisions at rest ;-) guaranteed you're gonna find a great guitardeal comming months and you're gonna be sooo happy to have bucks

Nice and speedy.... check out those Lian Li cases. They are nice. That X6800 is overpriced. E6600 better bang for the buck. Better figure some better cooling though.

Re: HELP!

well i went and took a look at it tonight and i must say i wasnt too impressed at the LP custom

The guitar was straight and had no major damage but just wouldnt hold tune, the gold hardware was nice but it didnt grab me like my fender did, i found the guitar to be a little...ordinary.

I know they are great guitars in their own right, the pickups did sound great, very led zep, but the tone knobs were scratchy and the pickups were very microphonic and the gold had started fading from the corners of them

I walked away and said id let him know, i dont think the price tag matched the item to be honest.

anyways im getting the computer

Computer

Anything is better then a LP in my mind.

Just go out in your back yard, cut a big tree down and start putting your fingers on it, there you go, your playing a Black Buety

Sounds like the right decisin, and I was wrong after all.

To be honest for that kind of money it would have to blow me away. If it had of done it would have been a good investment, bit that's life.
