help identifying which tele model

hey fender guys I need your help! I just got a used Fender Telecaster, and Im not exactly sure which model it is.

here is what I do know: It's a 2003-2004, made in USA, has an ash body, 22 frets, and the pickgaurd has just the 5 screws (and none at the neck pup)

but it has the vintage style bridge/saddles. do you think it is maybe a 1952 or 50s stylemodel? Im leaning towards one of those models, but I would like some other opinions. here are 2 pics.

and the strat style pickup selector tip was my addition bc it was missing the original and I had this one laying around.

Re: help identifying which tele model

It's definately not a 52 RI. Are you sure it's a USA?

No regular Teles have visible screws on the neck pickup, they are under the guard.

The Baja and MIM 50s RI are the only ones with 5 hole pickguards. Neither is American.

Is the pickup selector a 4 way switch?

Edit: the Higway One has a 5 screw guard. Does yours have a satin finish?

it definitely says made in USA on the headstock, and it has a 3 way switch.

Re: help identifying which tele model

thank you for the replies. after some quick research, it is indeed the highway one model (the satin finish and 22 jumbo frets). I guess I was wrong and it must be alder and not ash afterall. the highway one TEXAS teles have ash bodies and 21 frets, and the regular highway ones have alder and 22 frets. thanks!
