Help Me Buy An Acoustic!!

Hey folks,

I've always been all electric but after playin' a buddy's acoustic i decided I want an acoustic. I had one a long time ago but its discontinued and can't be found anymore at all. So I'm totally out of touch in terms of what companies make good acoustics. My price range is pretty low...since it's just a mess-around-with kinda guitar I'm probably looking to spend $4-500 maximum. And I don't really want something traditional looking, I'm into exotic woods and inlay and all that stuff as far as looks go. It's also important for it to have a good cutaway (aka easy access to the high frets). My friend has a Dean that I enjoyed, any others that people can recommend? Thanks!

Yeah I had an Agile EP-1 (tree of life inlay model) and it was FANTASTIC, but I just didnt like or play acoustic enough back then to justify keeping it...so I sold it. This is the one:




So now that I'm back into acoustic I'm looking to find a good quality one for under 500.

Check out the yamaha sox range of cutaway electros. Good value for money imho
