How rude of you Peavey - erm, I mean Washburn ;)
So Washburn are making Paul Stanley's signature guitar now. Does this look familiar to anyone?

That shape reminds me of something, can't think what though....

Are you thinkin' Iceman? I'm definately feelin' an iceman rip, and the other Paul Stanley guitars look hidious, his face on a guitar is worse than the "vai" logo.

Re: How rude of you Peavey
You have to remeber, and Mr Stanley will tell you this ('cos he told me), he didn't play an Iceman, he played a PS10. Little trivial things aside, you have to remember that before the PS10, he played Gibson Explorers, Flying Vs, Firebirds and even Les Pauls all of which feature round bit's, pointy bits and any other number of similarities to his current and previous signature guitars.
Sadly, like Ace Frehley did with Washburn, Stanley seems to have become a bit of an endorsement slut. His rig says Randall but I'm sure there's still a Marshall in there, and I would imagine when recording there's a lot more than Washburns in the rack.
At least Simmons is quite open about his whoreness.
And before anyone gets too stuck in to me, I am a huge Kiss fan and openly and lovingly play Gibsons. ;-)

Paul has been endorsing Washburn for years now, this is nothing new.

I've seen him advertising other amps in a recent guitar world too, I can't remember what though. Ah yeah that was another kiss guitarist - Sorry I'm not a kiss fan. At all.

Re: How rude of you Peavey - erm, I mean Washburn ;)
As I used to be the artist rep (albeit for a brief time) at Washburn I can help here. Paul was a Washburn artist and had a line of signature guitars in the late 90s-2000s. He also had a Randall amp he exclusively used in the 2000's. A few years ago he left Washburn and went with Silvertone for a signature line. Lower priced- I don't think they have any US manufacturing. I guess it didn't work out and now he's back with Washburn.
The Washburn PS line always featured some really high end USA pieces, as well as some lower priced imports (and some outragously priced customs from time to time). But the PS2000 body design is the same as it was. If you're looking for an Iceman I would highly recommend checking the older PS2000s out. My favorite was the PS2000 FLM with a flame maple top (Vai reviewed one of these for a Maxim magazine shootout they did back in the day if anyone remembers that). They were really nice Custom Shop guitars- as I'm sure the newer ones are as well. The PS500 imports were really good set-neck Korean imports as well, as far as they go.

I seem to recall Paul playing a cracked mirror topped Iceman. Now that was a nice guitar.

I've seen their current guitarist (can't recall his name) endorsing "Hughes and Kettner" amps. Is that what you're thinking of ? Only Stanley stuff I see is for guitars (Washburn).
