I'm considering buying a couple of used Martins. The owner said he had them setup like his Strat. He said he had them setup so that the
string height measured 3/32 above the 12th fret on the bass side and 2/32 on the treble side.
He doesn't know how they accomplished this, i.e, removed material from the saddle, etc. But he did say it was done professionally.
He also said they have light
guage strings.
Is this a normal procedure?
