I need help

I found a gold top les paul classic . Which has older model pickups for that 50's sound. Now there discontinued but i found one brand new in a guitar shop. I would get this guitar but I don't know if i should get this or a cherry sunburst les paul standard plus top. They both sound completely different I like sunburst cause it has that Jimmy Page guitar look. However the guitar on the classic gold top has pickups that give a greeat vintage sound. Any suggestions on quality and which has a good tone? These are Epiphones.

A LP classic has ceramics. Have for many years (I think they always had them but am not entirely sure). You sure it's not a standard with a 60s neck? Otherwise it's been modified and therefore is most likely used.
