Ibanez edge-pro into an ESP! AAAHHH!

I've been googling for hours and I'm sick of it! I need some definitive answers!

I have a KH-202 that I put a lot of work into, and I've owned a couple of Ibanez guitars since buying it. I love edge tremolos now and now I cannot fathom having a bridge without steady-ass locking posts and, most importantly, a clamp that holds the springs in place at the block for improved tuning stability.

As far as I can tell, there are no direct drop-in replacements for a licensed floyd that have these things. I cannot imagine having unmatched tuning stability WITHOUT a spring clamp. And it would be nice to have locking posts if they still do that. I could easily use an edge III, but god is that an awful bridge... I want to put a high quality Ibanez trem in this guitar, regardless of the woodwork needed. I'm sure I can put filler in a hole and drill new ones. Routing is easy...

I just need the steps... and words of experience if there are any...

Plus, is there anyone out there with a spare FSK-401 circuit-board? Mine is just fuxored and I really don't want to spend 250 bucks again just for the board...

After researching, it seems that the pole spacing is compatable and only some routing is needed... cool.

If you are after locking studs, and a great trem that stays in tune get a Gotoh licensed Floyd Rose. Should fit your route where an Edge Pro probably wont, and will be cheaper.

I'll second the Gotoh. Locking studs, and retaining screws in the block for the springs. Gotoh makes the Edge trems...

I have one in stock in Black and one in Chrome if you'd like....
