From what I found on another forum, they're based on the Air Norton S and Tone Zone S and well the Chopper is the Chopper.

As an aside I'm swapping the v60lps in both of my Suhr Pros with Fast Track 1 and a Chopper in one, and Fast Track 1 and an Air Norton S in the other...

I don't get it...

What exactly makes that a Billy Corgan model?

Hardtail bridge, custom pickups (!), USA 70's headstock... honestly, that street price is not even outragous, considering. I like it. A lot!

Re: I'd smash this pumpkin...

So you all think that is a unique guitar because it has some DiMarzios in it that Larry designed?

I love Smashing Pumpkins, but that is right up there with the Avril Lavigne, and Billy Joe Armstrong models.

James Iha would make more sense.

I like it but I would probably repaint it, but I'd get the white over black

Billy's favorite strat is a 3 bolt neck 70's burst with a large headstock with the obvious changes. The single sized humbuckers, the jumbo frets the maple board....so there you go. They just don't offer it in a burst and they do with a 22 fret neck, and no it's not like the Avril model (which is a pos squire)...you might as well put up there that Claptons, Robert Cray, Jeff Beck's, Mayer's, Buddy Guy's etc are all just strats. It appears to be US made as well.

Re: I'd smash this pumpkin...

My point is not about the quality of the guitar, but why Billy Corgan needs a signature model.
