Nothing like a "Disinformation campaign"
ok here goes this is to the best of my knowledge
NO NJ guitar has EVER been made in the US, just assemebled
the NJ stands for Nagoya, Japan
these models were usually neckthrough and had either B R C
I
c
o
or "rich" instead of "rico"
The NJ models were originaly produced in Japan, from 84-86 then shifted to the cort factory in korea.
there were also the US production series, these were US assembled korean kits.
of course the US
custom models were always done in California, then there was a whacky time with the company in the 89 to mid 90's when alot of wierd stuff happened (rico's break), weather or not what is on Ed Roman'$ website is true is anyones guess.
I hope that clears up anything.
