Identifying an old RG - Identifying an old RG

Hey all. *I just got a 1990 RG in a trade, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on it. *It's got sharktooth inlays, two C2 singles, and an F2 humbucker. *There is an "S" branded on the back of the headstock, but I don't know if that was put on by an old owner, for security or something. *Any ideas?

RG760 would be the model. The "S" on the headstock means "second". Before Ibanez stopped selling them, cosmetically challenged, but functional guitars were sold to dealers at a steeper discount. It may have had a paint chip, or something, but still played well enough, so it made it out of the factory. As long as it plays well, enjoy it.
