Hey you guys sure have some nice strats. I especially like the color of vultures' strat. Here's my 2007 YJM.

the pic of the YJM reminds me, has anyone seen the YJM's in other colors? I see the pic here is the rosewood one which looks nice. But how bout the sonic blue or candy apple red YJM's?

Do those scalloped frets really make that much difference?

Re: I'll show you mine if you show me yours (Strats)

I wanted a sunburst, but they don't make them. So I settled for the vintage white. The blue and red are nice too but I just like the color with the rosewood fretboard.

The scallops don't really affect my playing one way or the other. When I first tried it I found it a little weird and was going sharp on chords, but after a day or so it was pretty normal. When people play my guitar they are always sounding out of tune. They try to push the strings down to the fretboard. It's not what I would call a shredding guitar though, but has an amazing sound even when unplugged. It just has more "something" than my Jem and RGA. And it's weird going back to an Ibanez after playing the Fender. Not better or worse just different.

The best part of it is that it was a gift from my girlfriend. Wow!

Here are my strats with an early sonic blue Malmsteen and a 79 hardtail. The Mustang is a 78.

I figured it would be more Electric bluey. I'd like to have a YJM but there are so many things I am GAS'ing over so its hard to decide haha

found the red one on evilbay, I'd probably get a red one if anything since I'm not a fan of creme or light blue

Nice Strat Jim. Suddenly your love for the VSBL has been explained. It was destiny! (Not knocking the VSBL at all.) But no vine?!?
