Info on a Schecter Spitfire?

I bought a Schecter Spitfire a few weeks ago, and haven't really found out much info about it. All i know is it's a 22 fret, 25.5 in scale neck (same size as my RG, so that's the only way i could tell), bolt-on, two humbuckers, 3 way blade, one volume, one tone, string through body bridge, bolt-on neck (fender style), really nice figured maple neck (very sexy swirls) with a rosewood fretboard. Inlays look similar to the Schecter Omen. I think it's made in '03, but am not sure (first two numbers of the serial are 03, but i think i'm i'd-ing it wrong). No idea what pickups are in it. It could be US made, but i have no idea (the only thing hinting at it would be the "setup up in the US" stick, which is initialed/signed with a sharpy marker).

I'm really curious about the true specs on the guitar. It plays better than most guitars i've played (only ones better playing to me are Caparison and ESP). I was thinking of chaning the pickups, or installing a second volume, but i want to see about the real info on the guitar before i do anything with it. If you guys need the whoel serial number, i'll post it in a bit.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: Info on a Schecter Spitfire?

You mean this one from the Aviation Series?: http://tinyurl.com/2h65kb

If not, then contact Schecter http://www.schecterguitars.com/ with details/pics. They should be able to tell ya if it's a USA custom shop or a Diamond Series import. The "setup in the US" sticker is on their Diamond Series, so that's a big clue.

Post pics if ya can. The graphic on the Spitfire is cool. [I have the Midway] http://tinyurl.com/2y5adu
