Jackson DK-1 (new and improved)

Just wondering, seeing as how Ibanez recently introduced the RGT3120 as it's "Soloist Killer" if anyone has seen or tried Jackosn's new DK-1. The revised DK-1 goes back to 24 frets with a bound, bolt on neck and 2 humbuckers, perhaps designed as a "RG3120 Killer"

Has anyone seen or tried one of these new Dinkies ? If so what did you think?

I asked myself the same question two days ago when i saw the new dk1. Seems great, but those emg´s are not good to face ibaneze´s dimarzios IMO. I still love RR´s.

The DK1's are nowhere near the level of a 3120. I think they're both Japanese made, but that's where the similarities end.

I'm really not impressed with anything of Jackson's, short of their US line.

The New DK-1 is a part of Jackson's USA select series. Not a japanese guitar.

As it's a part of their USA range you should be impressed by it Polaris

Oh wow I didn't know they now had a USA version of the DK1. I was thinking of this one, which is the DK2, not DK1. Oh well, I know little about Jacksons it seems :P

this is going to sound ultra-superficial, but I can't stand the Jackson headstock! It's just so so ... Slayer. You know? I have no problems with the Ibanez headstock because at least it doesn't droop over like the Jacksons do. But I think it ruins the look of a nice soloist when I see nice maple body, nice neck. Then I get to the 8th grade death-metal headstock and it ruins it. oh well.
