James Trussart Inda House!

Earlier today I picked up this NEW 2009 Steelcaster in rare 'Antique Silver Paisley' - fully HAND-engraved top, knobguard, pickguard and headstock.
Holy-back.The level of attention to the engraving is astounding -and he 'aged' it with a submersing procedure. The neck is ebony-stained maple with an ebony board a MOP dot inlays.
It's not heavy, won't get belt buckle rash, and looks and sounds great.

Re: James Trussart Inda House!

Thanks guys - it's truly different than any other guitar I've owned (and I've had a few!)
Can't wait to put it through it's paces with the band this weekend.
It has the bite of a tele and the honk of a Les Paul.

That looks stunning! Is it just me or does it seem to have a narrow neck? I really like it, it suits the tele style.

Re: James Trussart Inda House!

Yeah, the body is entirely steel - the back has holes for weight reduction. Guitar is about 8 LBS. The neck is stained black and the fingerboard is a thick slab of ebony. The headstock has a recessed engraved steel plate that matches the body.
I played it for about an hour last night - the neck is a '52 tele shape - not too thick - with 6105 tall med jumbo frets. The edges are rolled and the fret dresswork is fabulous.

Gorgeous. Trussart Steelcasters are beautiful works of art that happen to also be some of the best playing and sounding guitars on the planet. Great score.

Re: James Trussart Inda House!

I hate to be that guy but, I think these things are hideous. It looks kinda like someone made a guitar out of an antique shop. They have some of these at the local Sam Ash too, they haven't sold one yet. I hate to rain on the parade, but these things is OOgly. Sorry bro! I guess as long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters.
