Go here. Is this a good trem or a bad trem?

I wouldn't imagine that it would have the same action as an Edge or Lo-Pro Edge.

It sounds like a good idea, but it 's just as easy to bury the trem or block it.

I remember a trem very much like this one on a few older Epiphones (I think). *They were in a music shop near my campus in my first year of college.....that would've been 1990. *Man, I'm getting old. *Anyway, I checked them out and they worked fairly well, but Kirk is right. *If you're used to an Edge or a Floyd, they won't feel the same at all. *They certainly aren't a bad idea, though. *A rather traditional feel with adequate tuning stability.

Remember, Ned Steinberger is a genius. *I would guess it is pretty cool. *My TransTrem had the lock in place feature if you didn't want it to float.
