A final story for you- the guitar tech who did all this is a long time friend and
since this started he's been calling this guitar a "Jeffocaster" because it's busting on me and it's a little different from his normal requests (my name is Jeff). so it's been a running joke -"...so, what do you want to put it that Jeffocaster next?..."

Hmmm....Andre's probably right.
Sorry guys, but I can't take the chance- it would be embarassing in my position to
break the law. Let's just say it's got "unique" markings and leave it at that.

What can be so bad they'll sue you for putting it on a public website? If that's the case, you'd be as well to keep it at home and never take it out to a gig, because people will still see it then.

And if the markings are 'unique' then they're one of a kind, not belonging to anyone, so you can't break the law if they're unique.
