Jim Root tele


Wow! Must get one, now...

Hmmmmmm . . . not as classy as the John 5 Tele. I'd swap the volume knob, and it'd be nicer with a tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.

I'd actually consider getting one if it didn't have the satin finish. I think Fender could benefit from more "contemporary" spec'd guitars like this in it's regular lineup.

Absolutely!

However, as for the J. Mascis Jazzmaster - maximum yum! Into the bargain I'd imagine it will be MIJ rather than MIM, which is always a plus with Fenders!
