Cool

Jones'in for a Yngwie Strat!!!

I need a fix!

Had one but foolishly traded it away. I yearn for the tightrope walking with no wood below me....the wind whipping under my fingers as they blur over the superjumbos.....watching the sun set between the mountains of the fretboard....

Anyone else get these feelings???!!

never was big on scallops closer to the headstock, i've always liked having the 15-24 frets scalloped, i like it on the higher fret's it's easier to dig in. I find the wider frets scalloped to make it harder to play bigger chords (7s, 13s etc)

Hmmm,

I don't mind the full scallop, i love it!

Have to add that my very first guitar also had a scalloped neck (it was a warmoth strat with a scalloped neck) so i've been playing that way ever since i started playing.

Having a scalloped neck is also a great wat to make sure you don't push down on the strings too hard imho.

I got a 2006 MINT Yngwie Strat. with Fender Tweed Case. Has Plastic still on the pickguard and back cover plate. AWESOME guitar plays perfect and no issues whatsoever. I'll take 1400 for it or would also trade it for a Jem of mostly any kind. PM me if your interested...Thanks

I had one a few years back and sold it like a dummy. So I just recently had my 2008 Fender American Deluxe Strats Neck Scalloped. And I love it!!!! Great Ash body different Dimarzios and trem and locking tuners and scallops! Its like my own custom Malmsteen!!!!!

I've got one, lovely, not so easy to be quick on but great for blues with lots of bends and vibrato!
