Just bagged a Washburn KC !!

I used to have a KC90 back in the day and i have regretted parting company with it for years, it was a sweet guitar.

I've just snagged another mint KC Chicago series (with hardcase ) on the bay tonight and I was wondering if any of you guys know what model it is, y'know KC70, KC40, KC100 etc.

I can't wait till she gets here !

I do not believe that any of the Chicago Series Washburns were USA made. They were all imports I believe.

Nice Score!

I saw that on Evilbay too. I am always looking out for good Washburns, because I think they make some fantastic stuff. My X50 Pro w/EMG's is one of my favourites.

Re: Just bagged a Washburn KC !!

Sorry to dredge an old post up guys, but I have one of those green Washburn KC-70V's which I brought new in 1990. They were the top of the line Korean-made Washburns which were manufactured by the Samick factory for Washburn. Wonderful guitars to play.

That looks like a kc90 to me m8 with the contured body and the selector switch-Ive got a kc70 it has 3 toggle switches not the selector switch .Sad story i lent it to my cousin and it came back damaged grrrrrrrrrrr i think hes bent the screws in the floyd rose system as it doesnt stay in tune even if i lock it up top and bottom :-((((

Re: Just bagged a Washburn KC !!

70's were 22 fret and flat top - 90's were 24 fret and archtop and made in Japan

(I have 3 90's !)
