Just got a yamaha yg1212

Hi, my first post here. Just got a yamaha yg1212 for USD150. Wonder is it worth it? It got a similar neck joint to annj. (Are yamaha the firsts to do such heels?), it got a ash body, maple neck(similar heatstock joint to ibanez, or whatever u call that) with ebony fretboard. 24 frets with RM-PRO 2 bridge. Anyone heard of this guitar model before?

oh yeah it MIJ, from what i see the headstock, and you could see "yamaha japan" on the tuners. I dont know but I got a feeling i had gotten something arsekicking

This thread is 2 years old.. hmmm, but Im replying anyway. I am using a YG1212 'Let It Rock' Yamaha (Limited Edition) since 1992... uhh, its been 16 years. Dark purple shine finishing, gold color tremolo arms, bridge and double humbucker and 2 single coils... this guitar has never failed me (expect for nowadays some little humming is coming from the jacks which i believe can be rectified with little servicing), RM-ProII Floyd Rose patented tremolo. Smooth playing on the fretboard as you play it over time (in my case 16 years.. lol). Steady, stable tremolo usage with the locks in use, even when you bend it all the way. 3 coil springs at the back panel adjustable and removable to the right tension. 16 years ago... i costs me around USD500.
