Killer Guitars - Where can I find one?

Does anyone know of a company/individual importing "Killer Guitars" into the US from Japan? I am a big Akira Takasaki (of Loudness) fan, so I've had a bit of a hankering for one. I've searched high and low with no luck...

Check out this company from Japan... they're called Ibanez

They make some pretty "killer" guitars!

Hey Hawkwind...

I'm not so sure about whether or not they would sell them in US, but they sell them here in my country, Singapore. I don't think they have a dealership in America...

But here's their website.

http://www.killerguitar.com/

The Japanese website has much more stuff and more eye candy!

http://www.killer.jp/

And here are some places they sell them...webshops that is...

http://www.ikebe-gakki.com/shoppage/...uro/killer.htm

I hope this helps!

Chris.

i saw Chuck Schuldiner playing one in a mag pic (i think it's this month's Guitar World issue, w/Hammett on the cover), with only a X2N at the bridge and no tone pot.

They definitely look cool, but one thing i noticed is that most of the strat-style ones look very small. Like 5/8 scale bodies, along the lines of the Washburn N4.

I've always thought that they had a really sweet look to them. Just wish I could get my hands on one! Thanks for the web page (ikebe-gakki). I'll look through and see if I can get something cool. Still wish I could find a company that already imports them in, that way I can avoid having to figure out all of the taxes and crap... ugh.

Hmmm... I've noticed that some of the guitars are made of sen... what type of wood is that? I'm not to familiar it. Does something compare to it (alder, basswood)?

Trapzilla, under danger of getting off subject, Loudness could be lumped in with that tag. The guitar player, Akira, is a wicked player. Paul Gilbert, my other fav player, has cited Akira as one of his main influences. You can hear a lot of Akira's influence on early Racer X records. Paul even guested on Akira's 96 solo album. Loudness is still rocking over seas. As with most shredders, Japan seems to be their last safe haven.

Killer guitars are made by ESP, they are pretty nice but some of the shapes are pretty wicked. *I think Jason at Drum City Guitar Land had one in last time I was down there. *I've also seen 1 or 2 on ebay.
