I picked up a
Kramer Focus 1000 a few days ago on a trip after much internet research on the hotel's cafe computer. I always wanted a Baretta, and knowing what I know now, I think I actually dig the Focus more than the "real" thing.
The neck and fretboard on this guitar are the most comfortable and natural feeling I have ever played. The neck is thin, but not as thin as a Wizard. Not as thick as a Fender C, either. The fretboard is relatively flat, but not as flat as an Ibanez. More Stratocaster-like, but not quite.
Is there a way for me to accurately measure the fretboard radius, just to satisfy my curiosity? According to the vintage kramer website, it is probably 10 inches, which seems about right, but they did vary from guitar to guitar.
