Kramer Pacer Deluxe

I bought a Kramer Pacer Deluxe off a forum bro from another forum.

This plays really great! The neck is fast and the pickups sound great! It just needs a setup because its not staying in tune at the moment and isn't tuning up well (Then again I haven't changed the strings), but I suppose the guitar has to adapt to the climate/humidity change (as it came from the USA). Tomorrow I'll re string her and stretch the strings and tune it up and see how I go.

Re: Kramer Pacer Deluxe

Hi bro

Nice to find you around here as well.

Congratulations for your new guitar. All this kind of guitars as cool old Ibanez models are pretty hard to find in Australia so... you must be really happy. The electonics are hot and you realize how loud the JB pickup can be.. it´s great.

About the tuning thing... don´t worry too much.. I bought the 2 Kramer Pacer I USA Custom from Mike at Kramerforum not so long and it happens to me the same... just simplu put a new set of strings and set ip again and you feel than the guitar is coming his way.. just allow a few days, but no major problems I hope so...

CheersĦĦ

Hey Javier! Nice to find ya around here too!

The pickups in the guitar are schallers I think. They kick ass!

I haven't put new strings on yet, I might do that tonight. I cant really set up guitars (I didn't do a great one to my strat but I have no idea how to set a floyd), Might find a good tech that can do it The guitar should kick ass once its set up!!

Re: Kramer Pacer Deluxe

Actually, those pickups should be Seymour Duncans (unless someone changed them, which I doubt): a JB in the bridge and two vintage staggereds. The small toggle gives you split, series, and parallel for the bridge pup. I have that exact guitar, same color and everything. I played hundreds of gigs with it, and it remains my most beloved ax.
Cheers,
Bert
