Look what I got!

I traded my semi useless gear and 2 copy guitars for a NICE reissue '58 Korina V pre-modded by previous owner with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and dunlop straplocks, I think the tuners were changed, but im not sure, came with a epi V molded case too, the guitar was made in 98 and just has 2 finish cracks, but man does it play like butter, already im selling (or direct trading for a white fixed bridged Ibanez) my Dean Cadillac X (which I modded alot) and my other custom V (which was heavily modded my me too)

Here are some pics (note, this is how I got the guitar, I have done some mods to it already and I am waiting to buy a gold pickguard for it so I can take new pics)

Nice! Korina is a great sounding wood, I'm sure you'll love it. Is that a Gibson or an Epiphone?

The case is marked Epiphone, so that'd be my guess.

Indeed though, Vs are pretty nifty, Korina has a nice grain too.

It is an Epi, (well, for now ! muahahaha...j.k)
The grain does look nice man, and with all gold parts, it just looks like a million buck

Nice! What exactly does Korina sound like compared to other woods?

To me, it sounds very tight, harmonics just scream, and cleans are very creamy, lol, plus the pickup combination, I actually prefer it over my EMG V guitar.
