LTD is listening (Maple Boards)

Hi all,

I know many of the Ibanez players here are very upset because ibanez never listens to what we want. No blacks, color options + maple fretboard.
However, they keep on being the no1 inovator in black having a catalogue choice of over 20 black colors. How exciting eh??

Now, i was on ESP US site last night, and LTD, (i know they are cheap) but they are bringing out 10 New LTD models, some are top of the line range LTD which plays better then korean ibanez. More inportant is, new Non-Black colors + 4 maple fretboard models.

If any of you guys are looking for brands to jump because of maple boards, have a look at the new models, they look pretty good to me.

This may sound petty but I don't like the ESP headstocks.

I would go as far to say some of the higher end LTD's (mostly deluxe) I've played are on par if not better than some prestige Ibanez's I've played.

S-S-H is good enought, plus it looks better i reckon. Atlease they did 4 of 10 models of maple board and transparent flame tops are nice.

Yeah it doesn't look as good as H-S-H, but to my ear it usually sounds better

(Unless of course you're using mini-humbuckers, but let's not split hairs.)

I think he's saying as far as mass-produced guitars go, Ibanez is his favorite.
