I came across this mind blowing 36 fret guitar while researching the hamer virtuoso, washburn ec and uli's sky guitar.

I really like how they have put the 7 string humbucker at a angle to the 6 strings.

Pretty cool. I've been lusting over Mayones for a while, they make beautiful instruments.

Guess all its missing is some pickups hidden under the fretboard like uli roth's sky guitar.

But seeing an Evo 7 in a 6-string guitar was quite a surprise!

Yeah i wonder what they are trying to achieve with that? Maybe the 7 string humbucker on a angle to the 6 strings would make the bridge position pickup have a more warm tone like a neck pickup?

Apparently, the Evo 7 sounds more like a regular Evolution than the Evo 2, so I think they were trying to make it sound not as ear piercing as the old DP159.

Sorry i was referring more to the placement of the angled 7 string humbucker to the 6 strings not so much the type of humbucker. The angle and particularly the extra poles would make for a completely different harmonic balance/node and would result in a shift of kilohertz.

I have a standard setius and its one the best guitars ive played hands down
