Re: my creation

The stencil design looks great. I'm sure if you tried Pickguard Paradise (link right at the top of the page), they could make a clear guard for you, and they're right here on LI.

Re: my creation

Clear pickguards really look nicer for guitars that are rear routed. If you could get... say a 3 ply pickguard with black, red and black that would be cool. Or red tortoise shell. Classic color, and would really work well with the design and the natural wood grain behind.

Great work !

Re: my creation

I say get a white guard and continue to stencil on it, and if you got the 1337 skillz right on the pickups/covers too.

Yeah, but that would be a short cut. No one would recognize the influence and it would just make the entire guitar look like **** on purpose, not because you're a guitar god who put together an axe as laid back as his personality , but that much like his appearence, can be deceiving.

Trust me - the last thing you need to do is be a wanna be. This guitar is looking wicked unique, try to think of something else. If you wanna do a Frankenstein, do it right - at least then we can credit where it came from.
