Some months ago I brwsed some guitars because of my craving for new gear. I sampled a Eagle Brand guitar and was surprised because the quality was above the asking price, I noiced right away the low action and the sustain and the very good build quality way over the asking price...(399).
I spoke with the dealer about them and he told he could order diferent colors shapes the 9 yards..... so I went and ordered a
Les Paul replica with nlays in the borders and a neck like the JEM inlays, preferabily sunburst or red.... He ordered it 3 days later and told me about the specs of the guitar and the delivery time 5-6 weeks plus customs papers and clearance...
Almos exactly 2 months later he calle dme and he had 2 LPs the one I bought and a yellowwish one ...I played both..the yellow was amazing! and even better than the one I have got but I liked more the red and it had better sustain.
I took it home and took away the original pickupsad put a Screaming Demon on the bridge and a Seymour Jazz (old model) on the neck I just moded the high E
string bridge a teensy bit and the thing was on the spot, insanely low action, a thin neck and a sustain that I haven heard of no other guitar.
The bad parts of the deal ( Everything as drawbacks) the Lp has not up to par switches, and the hardware is gold mate and a shinny gold would be a ot better, and even if its a sacrilege I would have liked a long scale neck, but hey, we cant have it all!!!
Sorry for the big pics but they are needed:
Nitice how the screen of my Mac reflects on the guitar and the screen has the Lp!
The low action..it couldnt get a better pic but you get the idea...
