My New Martin 7-STRING!

I ordered this one a few months ago and want to share:

it's a Signature Series- very limited run Roger McGuinn model. (Byrds)
This guitar is special for a couple of reasons: a double G string in octaves and all D-45 appointments. Mine is signed and numbered by both C.F. Martin and Roger M- #220 and one of the last of the run as the new catalog doesn't offer it.

The abalone inlays are really colorful and match very close to each other-

The top uses 'aged' toner ad the 7 strings are awesome!

A true gem of a guitar....I think I'll keep this one awhile ;^)

It awesome. When you strum - its like a 12 string, yet you can play clean bass and lead lines too.

Re: My New Martin 7-STRING!

Jeff, that's gorgeous, I had read about them and always wondered how pronounced the 12 string affect was. Damn that abalone pops! Brilliant idea and a gorgeous guitar, congrats.
