My first Fender ever! Japan quality is incredible, far beyond standard American lines IMHO (never tried customs btw).

The neck is huge, and the sound is pretty one dimensional, but it does get the RK tone!

I don't know if this answers your question: I saw Richie play live here in Santiago last september, came home and ordered the strat immediately LOL

I currently own a japanese strat that plays better than any of the american strats I've tried. Dunno why this is the case. Sadly I think fender's quality control is on the wane.

Sweet! Looks like a Mary Kaye with the white and gold hardware.

I always associated Ritchie with a Tele.....glad to see he's smarted-up to the Strat. GOOD LUCK WITH IT!

Great looking Strat. Congrats. I'm surprised you say it sounds one dimensional however. There's a lot of variation between those three pups as I'm sure you'll discover in time.

Very nice! As I already have a Strat i'd personally go for the RK tele. It's good to see that white and gold can work on a guitar!

Well, I think the RK Tele is next! It's really "refreshing", very different from the Ibanezes I've been getting for years!
