My new strat. What to do?

I was tired of the G&L mongrel Tele i had and i´ve changed it to a friend for an american standard strato (cherry, maple, 1990, dead mint). Just did it because selling a strato is way easier than selling a mongrel and i could have more money selling the Fender.
Never been a Fender fan, but when tried it...whoa!! I have to admit it would be better with a humbucker in the bridge position, but this little thing sounds awesome!!!!!and i´m seriously considering not to sell it.
The money was for a Jem, but i´ll have money for buying a VWH (probably from Rich) in 3 months aprox. So...should i sell the stato for having a Jem in two weeks or have both wating some months??

keep it, a good stratocaster is a must have. I don't own one but recently I played a quality strat. The playability could't tip my jems but the sound was so beautiful, so Hendrix, Vaughan...I played totaly different on the strat than on a Jem. so I am now thinking of buying a old 70's strat so I have more versatile tones in the studio.

Definately keep it. If you sell it you'll miss it later, and you'll probably have to pay more to replace it. The price of the Jem is solid for the next few months and then you'll have them both, together!! As you have already discovered, it takes your music in a different direction, this can only enhance the direction you normally follow as you can build on the two and combine techniques for new angles of attack!! (My personal oppinion of course.)

Keep it if you can. G&L's are great guitars also. G&L Legacy's are as good as any strat in my opinion and go cheap used all day long.

A strat in ever collection...i think u mean 2!

There should be two strats in every serious guitarists collection, A nice classic sounding strat for all those classic hendrix, SRV, beck, clapton etc tones (much like your new standard strato) and...

A Scalloped Yngwie strat, for SHRED!
(everyone should own this guitar)
