My Suhr guitar

Woohoo!!! I'll also be an owner of a Suhr guitar soon! I've ordered a Pro series S1 which most likely will come in this week. So stay tuned for a lot of photographs of it that I'll post in this thread.

You know, I had a hard time choosing which color. I loved ocean turqouise and orange crush. They were both great. But then I came across a limited edition model that they released last year which had a different color that isn't available on the regular models. Which color that is will remain a surprise until you see the photos. But I'll say that I'm very happy to able to say I'll be the owner of this guitar soon.

Stay tuned for the pics!

Re: My Suhr guitar

Yeah, it's going to be great.

I'll try to capture the beauty of the finish the best I can with my Sony Cybershot. It should work out with the right lighting and all.

Re: My Suhr guitar

I certainly still have my Standard. I want another one but I always spend my gas fund on other things

Candy apple red will be very cool. Especially with a pearl pick guard

Yeah, you'd go for a natural finish, if you you bought another one, right? That would be cool. But yeah, there's more to life than guitars.

I love the look of pearl pickguards but surprisingly with this finish, it's just a bit too much for me. Just like on this S1:

A plain white pickguard I think would look so much cooler. But that's a personal preference.

Ah, I see. It's true that I love the color red for guitars. I've found I in general prefer warm colors. Although that turqouise I mentioned looks really cool, I have to say.

Btw, other limited edition S1s from last year had the colors Fiesta red and Lake placid blue. That latter one looks awesome. Here's a pic:

Sorry about that. lol I just thought I'd share the excitement.

I'm sure she'll live up to the expectations, seeing that she's got very similar specs as my Yamaha; alder body, rosewood fretboard, maple neck, HSS configuration, non-locking nut, Sperzel tuners, double cutaway design... The list goes on. I'll post of photo of the two guitars next to each other so that you can see the resemblance.
