Need help id'ing a USA Washburn

I just picked this up the other day and can't figure out exactly what it is. It looks like an MG100 but it has an odd Washburn/Schaller roller tremolo and a textured/satin black finish. The serial number starts out 000, so, I figure it was made in Chicago in 2000. I am hoping you guys might be able to me out.

The last year of the Mercury series was 96. The two trems available were a Floyd and a wilkinson. You may have a mutt guitar.

Thanks for the response MM. Those are good points. However, the tremolo is stamped Washburn but is also marked 'Made in Germany', leading me to believe that it's a Schaller. The headstock says 'Made in USA', and it has the appropriate neckplate. I just wonder if I'm reading the serial number correctly...

Washburn is the worst about archiving their guitars. You could try and email customer support. Such a shame what has become of Washburn
