New Clapton Strat -Holy Cow

First, I will ALWAYS be a Jemaholic.....

...but I just picked up a new Fender Clapton Strat with the v-neck and TBX controls and noiseless pickups.

This thing is so comfortable I feel like I've had it for years.
I've had more Strats over the years than anything else, and this one is the best I've had. Really.

Anyone else have one of these babies? I want to here other points of view.
Thanks.

I've had (3) Clapton Strats over the years and my favorite was a 2003 with the Noiseless pickups. The Lace Sensors were ok, but just didn't have as much of the Strat sound as the Noiseless pickups have.

GREAT guitars. Probably one of my favorite necks. Good score!

Thanks Vaijem,

I gotta say I go through guitars like socks. It's a good thing my wife is understanding!

I'm not basking in the "honeymoon" stages of a new guitar, this thing really IS significantly different I'm happy to say.

UMMM.... I've always wanted a Clapton Strat, but just never pulled the trigger on one. Lot's of tonal variations on that guitar and a great neck...
What color did you get?

Thet definitely exist as there's one in my local Edinburgh guitar shop!!!!

If you want one, they do phone sales! Website with details:

http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk

If anyone contacts them, speak to Sean and say Alistair sent you. Then I might get a better deal on the EBMM Luke I just ordered Oh, they also have one of the last ebony fretboard Jem VWHs as well
