Yeah everything is lined up and set perfectly, no flaws, no worries. I veneered the top for two reasons: 1) it looks really good, and 2) adding a thicker slab on top of the body would make for a fat, heavy body. I only like light guitars, my first custom is under 7 pounds and this one will be too.

Thanks guys. Haha, believe it or not that neck came from the seller that a lota people here had that giant 55 page problem thread about. But its very well built. Here's a better pic or two (vine btw is green, it appears blue in one of the pics but its not), it doesnt look as it should in those above pics. The only problem I had was that the finish on the fretboard sucked and had to be redone, these pics are pre-refinishing and pre-frettin:

haha, it's funny. i have 2 bodies from him and i was one of the ones who had a problem. not nearly as bad as some, apparently, but i actually remember that neck on his site now that you mention it. he actually promised a replacement body for free for a job that he just slapped together and shipped due to being "pressed for time". glad that it worked out(more or less) for you. we'll see if his new direction works out better for him and us.

Just got the pic of the finished body, minus some natural stain on the korina edges and clearcoat on the whole thing. How's about this?

am I wrong or holes for humbackers are not same size? Neck one seems to be wider.

You're wrong lol. The routing is 100% perfect. You can measure the width with a ruler off the picture, its exact lol. This guitar is a sort of optical illusion in pictures because its a carve top.

Two more pics, light coat of natural stain really brought out the figuring in the korina and the burl. All that's left is clearcoat & hardware installation

. And no, the bridge isnt crooked

, it was just placed on top for the sake of the pics (not yet installed).
