new Fenders
anyone checked out the new Fenders at NAMM? I'm looking at their
NAMM page
right now and drooling like crazy. The
Highway 1 Showmaster
really reminds me of the HM Strat, and you gotta check out the
Strat-O-Sonic
too!! OMG!!

oh yes! I'm ogling at the the dual humbucker Telecaster too!! I've loved the HH Tele ever since I saw the Squier one (although the quality of that wasn't great). I'm getting some serious GAS symptoms here!!

Eh, i was intrigued to see what Fender would be doing, now that they bought jackson. Basically, they've done nothing but add a few nice finishes. As much as i love my strat, you just can't look to fender for innovation...
That said, i wouldn't say no to the showmaster, i've always liked that body design...

The more I look at that Celtic Esquire and Showmaster the more I want one.
Especially if they were baritones.

If you trace it way way way back, Fender designed the JEM before anyone else.
Technically there wouldn't be a JEM without Fender.
